Hey Roy -

I wonder what it would look like if you went further back, say to the 40's and developed similar curves for each decade. Would you see the gradual increase in temperature curves as asphalt/concrete progressed over the decades? Or, increases in temperature might also be the result of global warming. Of course, the temperature records probably don't go back that far for one location.

Cars had better curves in the 40's and 50's that's for sure. Those late 40's early 50's humpbacked Hudson Hornets in particular. Personally, if all of the pavement and refined petroleum and internal combustion are boiling the atmosphere away at least we got the car culture out of it. I would've never seen half the world I've seen were it not for the internal combustion engine.

My clothes and produce wouldn't be as cheap, neither. I like all the coal they burn also so that I can have air conditioning. It gets hot hereabouts come Summer.

Well, the only thing I can say is this rocks! What a way to improve a photo and manipulate an image. Hiding a flaw, you say? Still rocks!
