Nice one Doc. I had almost forgotten what fall hardwoods look like.

Thanks for the picture. Sharron always loved the fall colors, and we always found something comforting in the constancy of the cycles of nature. We were always most aware of this during spring when the leaves were first coming out in their bright greens, and in the fall when the trees showed their last splash of color before winding down for their winter sleep.

I'll have to bookmark this post to return to in October when I'm most acutely missing the blue ridge mountains.
